April 2- exercise 9.4
Laying in bed all he could hear was the screaming. The screaming that awoke him from his deep slumber night after night. No 6-year-old should be awake a 4:00 in the morning listening to yelling and crying. He laid there, motionless, tears streaming down his face. Not wanting his parents to know he was awake, he remained silent, not even stirring once. But then he heard glass shatter. He yelled out for his mom, frightened that something bad had happened. He blamed his dad, he knew he was crazy. Poor mother didn't know how to escape. He ran out of his room in a panic. Running to the place he heard the shatter come from. When he got there, he saw his mom was alright. Looking around at what had happened all he saw was a vase of flowers that had fallen over from the cat. He felt safe again knowing that no one had been hurt.
